Continuing to experiment with a ‘reincarnation’ of the various housing typologies at the Asian Games Village, this project deploys a lively and upbeat use of colour – primarily in the pre-cast terrazzo tile flooring – to invigorate the spatial flow of this open plan duplex residence for a young family.

Extensive use of birch veneer plywood to fabricate closets and bookshelves, exposed concrete ceilings, and a pale plaster wash on the walls, complete the interior, enabling the client’s growing collection of art and furniture to assume the spotlight.
