On a tight urban site for a magnet school, a spatial jigsaw enables courts and gardens to be interspersed within classrooms and galleries

 A hermetic exterior hence dissolves into a light-filled interior, with spaces for education and for exploration, for performance and for play.  The students are encouraged to identify their place in this campus, beyond the classroom….within a Japanese inspired garden, a grove of citrus, an amphitheater within the main courtyard, or within the kitchen gardens on the terrace.
