Located deep in the Rajasthani desert, the design solution emerged from a simple set of principles: employees deserve direct access to natural light and ventilation, materials and surfaces should require minimal maintenance, and energy efficiency should be maximized.

The overhang of the entry is calibrated such that a minimum of sunlight directly penetrates the building, screening it from the scorching arid climate. The north and south elevations incorporate insulated glazing systems shaded by balconies clad in local sandstone, whereas the east and west walls are designed as cavity walls with minimal glazing, reducing the heat load. All grey and black water is recycled on-site and complemented by an extensive rainwater harvesting infrastructure.
