Healthy Planet School, NH24
This flagship campus for the Healthy Planet School, sited adjacent to a National Highway, creates an oasis of learning for the community of students and teachers.
The classrooms are organized in clusters or pods, with each cluster overlooking a skylit courtyard. Natural light, filtered through a veil of foliage, is introduced from the north and from the south facades. The entire campus is linked by an ‘aqueduct’ – a pedestrian gallery designed as the connective tissue between the classrooms and the enrichment and co-curricular spaces. The structure of the building – exposed concrete – is complimented by the use of colored steel screens.
