With a simple and clear identity, the design for the complex offers a place in which social activities, now critical to the modern museum, can establish a new space and expand the cultural and intellectual life of the city.

The cultural centre and museum asserts itself in its location adjacent to the Noida Sector 16 Metro Station at the portal of Noida’s Blue Zone. With ecology and landscape at the forefront, the scheme intends to fully embody the Shiv Nadar Cultural Center & Kiran Nadar Museum of Art’s aspirations for sustainable leadership, further cementing Noida’s status as one of India’s greenest cities. A green roof deck planted with native plant species offers an intimate environment for visitors. A cascading green garden punctures the main building, allowing the scheme’s abundant greenery to continue within the building whilst guaranteeing ample, yet strategically tempered access to daylight within interior spaces. At the scale of the city and the visitor, the New Shiv Nadar Cultural Center & Kiran Nadar Museum of Art will be both a visual and physical symbol of a new cultural dimension in New Delhi and India.
