The spirit and soul of this venerable institution of higher education – renowned for the largest number of Nobel laureates of any University faculty – had to be encapsulated in the new academic center – one of several international outposts for the campus.

This anchor for the University of Chicago faculty and students, also assumes a generous intellectual role as a venue for discourse in Delhi, a hub for the exchange of plural, sometimes contentious, but always unfettered points of view.  The design includes a reception and event area, several types of classrooms, faculty offices, and amenities for visiting students.
